Okay, no fortune, but a few moments of glory. We've been greeted by the proprietors of local businesses (e.g., Foothills Bakery, Fletcher General Store) with, "you're famous!" The checkout person at a store where I bought a couple copies of the Free Press did a double-take, but didn't say anything. Lots of unsolicited comments via e-mail.
So it's been fun and funny to have our faces plastered on the front page of the area's major newspaper. Alas, it's been a whole day and I still haven't parlayed this newfound fame into a gig as a photographer...
